I was having trouble with my Mercedes misfiring and running poorly so I brought my car to see the crew at Al’s Auto Care in Brick, NJ. After a complete and thorough diagnostic on my car, Andre contacted me to let me know I had a crack in my intake manifold and I also had a problem with my computer. Andre and the staff kept in contact with me every day until the parts arrived. They felt bad for the delay so they graciously took my car through inspection. We have 5 cars, 2 of them being German. Having a good
Mechanic I can trust to go for me is a great find – having one that treats you like family, is priceless.

The service provided at Al’s Auto Care is superior! Andre is an honest and humble man dedicated to serving the community as well as my family – and always with a warm smile. Brett is courteous and compassionate, supportive and sensitive, pleasant and professional. They both take time to extensively explain repairs and are so patient and kind. They are understanding of my challenges and are willing to assist me as a single mom with five children. Because two of my children are disabled, my handicap accessible vehicle requires specific service and it is difficult to find mechanics that can provide the needed service and that can be trusted. The team at Al’s Auto Care always goes above and beyond and I have been the continual recipient of exceptional service with a personal touch for several years. This is invaluable. I know and trust that my car and my family are well cared for at Al’s Auto Care and I am blessed to work with such outstanding individuals.

I needed help on a stressful job on my car a couple days ago that needed a special tool for a 32-year-old vehicle that I own. I called around at least 5 different auto services and told them my dilemma and without hesitation, they said “we are confident we can fix it.” That’s what they said while everyone else said, “tow it in we we will look at it.” Well that didn’t sit right with me if Al’s Auto Care said they were confident – then that’s good for me. Within a few hours, they fixed the massive issue and they were able to keep my car running! What a fantastic, nice, and caring staff – 5 stars, wish I can give them 50 stars !!!

I noticed some oil spots in my driveway as well as my garage, and immediately looked underneath my 2014 Wrangler and noticed oil slowly dripping. My wife and I have lived in Brick for 4 years, and had been taking our vehicles to local dealers for major service; I usually take care of light maintenance like tire rotations and oil changes. I contacted a Jeep dealership in Toms River for help, but the service department extension didn’t pick up, so I Googled a reputable repair shop in Brick, and Al’s Auto Care came up first. I did some research and saw they had many happy customers, and I can now be added to that list as well.

I initially emailed them through their website as it was after business hours, and to my surprise I received a reply at approximately 8:30 pm from Andre. He told me Wranglers are prone to leaking oil from the oil cooler housing, and to bring the vehicle by at my earliest convenience. I utilized the after hours drop box, and the following day I received an email and phone call confirming that what they thought was the problem actually was the problem. I gave Brett and Andre the go ahead after hearing their fair and reasonable estimate. To my surprise they actually emailed me videos of my Jeep while they were midway through working on it. No dealership has ever done that for me.

When I went to pick up my car, I was greeted by Brett and Andre as if we were old friends. They showed me the defective part and explained to me how and why the leak occurred. I am extremely pleased with their service and attention, and will definitely go back to them.

Al’s Auto Care spent the time to make sure my car was diagnosed correctly. They gave me a quote over the phone which was great! After taking my car there, all worry left my mind. Andre was FANTASTIC. He took the time to diagnose my car with tedious testing. He also took the time to have a detailed conversation with me over the phone explaining what he was planning to do and didn’t rush me off the phone. Pricing was very reasonable too! I would highly recommend Al’s Auto to anyone looking for a quality auto service establishment!
